DR. Michelle May appeared at the recent VSEBT Annual Meeting on September 27, 2013 held at the Musical Instrument Museum. Dr. Michelle May spoke to the health care professionals gathered about how to “Eat Mindfully and Live Vibrantly.” The focus is to be conscious of your eating and enjoy your foods – not deprive yourself through dieting. By eating for the correct reasons we can break the cycle of overeating followed by self-denial.
“Most diets are restrictive and unsustainable, leaving the dieter feeling guilty and disappointed. My goal is to help people recognize and cope with their triggers of overeating, rediscover joy in physical activity, and effectively nourish their body, mind, heart, and spirit.”
